On Tuesday, August 23rd, I will be speaking on a panel of experts discussing reimagining food waste and how we can reimagine our food system. We are addressing how we can reduce waste to heal ourselves and the planet.
Reimagining Food Waste is being put on by Michelle Lerach, food system activist, change maker, and founder of Berry Good Food Foundation.
I will be focusing on simple, practical things we can do in our own kitchens to put a 44% dent in the waste, one home at a time. The side benefit? You get more nutrition and some of what I’m teaching can even help heal genetic conditions. How cool is that?
There will also be a panel discussing how to tackle the big issues in the food system, including proposed steps for making changes. You’ll meet farmers, innovative entrepreneurs, chefs and food activists who are making a difference in their communities and the world.
Let’s all affirm…
As I honor Mother Earth, my body heals and thrives.
