However, there is some controversy regarding this condition. Many natural health practitioners recognize it as a syndrome that occurs when the adrenals are overworked and no longer produce sufficient quantities of hormones needed for vibrant energy and overall wellness. However, in allopathic medicine, it is not an accepted medical diagnosis. Before we look at the reasons that make adrenal fatigue so controversial, let’s examine what our adrenals do and why dysfunction in them is so common. Your adrenals are two walnut-shaped glands.
